October is the International Month of Action Against AFRICOM. Join BAPSoCal for “What Is AFRICOM?”, a teach-in on U.S. Africa Command: what it is, what it does on the continent, and how the same militarism operates in Los Angeles and across the Americas. The teach-in is designed as an introduction, so no background is needed. It will include a presentation, small-group discussion and time to connect with African/Black and anti-imperialist organizations in Los Angeles. Free and open to the community. Snacks provided.

Saturday, October 17, 3:00 PM PT, at the Radical Hood Library, 2304 W Jefferson Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90018
