Weekend of Action Against Zionist and “Israeli” Presence in Africa

The Weekend of Action Against Israeli Presence in Africa aims to build political consciousness, strengthen international solidarity, and challenge the structures that enable Zionist and “Israeli” influence on the African continent.

Participants are encouraged to use the weekend to educate their communities about the historical and contemporary relationship between Zionism and imperialism. By highlighting the role of Israeli military industries, surveillance technologies, diplomatic partnerships, and ideological influence networks in Africa, organizers can help expose how these relationships undermine African sovereignty.

The coordinated action also seeks to strengthen solidarity between African and Palestinian struggles for liberation. Both struggles confront systems of colonial domination, militarized repression, and racialized control. By organizing collectively across regions and movements, the Weekend of Action provides an opportunity to deepen these connections and to advance a shared anti-imperialist political perspective.

WE JOIN THE COALITION FOR THE ELIMINATION OF IMPERIALISM IN AFRICA TO DEMAND:

  • All 44 African states must sever their diplomatic ties with “Israel”.

  • The 13 Israeli embassies and consulates in Africa must be closed.
