In coordination with simultaneous actions across the hemisphere, mobilize with us at the NYC office of the US State Dept at 666 Fifth Ave, NYC - a local pressure point of U.S. militarization - to demand a Zone of Peace and wield our collective power.
Join the Black Alliance for Peace Diaspora Pa’lante Collective, Compas de la Diaspora, JUPI, G-REBELS, Anti-Displacement NYC, and other antiimperialist local orgs to say to US imperialism -
Out of Venezuela! Out of our Streets! Out of Our Americas!
We will start at the US State Dept, then make our way to JUPI's action in the Bronx, with popular education on the subway ride up!:
11/19 marks “Discovery Day” in Puerto Rico, which is the day which Christopher Columbus’s forces first landed in Boriken in 1493. This encounter would initiate 500 years of imperial aggression and plunder in our land, first by Spain, now by the US. This Discovery Day, JUPI areas will be engaging in a day of action denouncing our colonial conditions and the impacts they have on our people and the people of the whole Caribbean.
Join the Bronx chapter for our rally at Roberto Clemente Plaza to demand an end to these conditions: The militarization and destruction of our lands and our people, our continued displacement, and colonial control of the US.
