CurbFest for Political Prisoners is coming back to Baltimore Sept 2nd!!

Bring your friends, family, and comrades and join us in agitating community around the issue of political prisoners!

There will be music, performances, speakers, activities for children, letter writing, and a special documentary screening of ‘The Pendleton 2: They Stood Up’.

WHAT IS CURBFEST?

CurbFest for Political Prisoners connects organizers with community members to raise awareness of political prisoners and share ways to get involved in the movement. Featuring local Speakers, Organizers, Performers, Artists, and DJs coming together to agitate community to be in solidarity with Political Prisoners.

WHAT IS A POLITICAL PRISONER?

Political Prisoners are people jailed on charges related to their resistance to oppression, repression and targeted by the state for their political beliefs and/or actions. The contribution their resistance makes to revolution is the basis of their capture regardless of the charges brought under the invalid, racist laws of the government.

The finale for for Curbfest 2023 is a screening at 6:30 p.m. of The Pendleton Two: They Stood Up.

The Pendleton2, political prisoners, John "Balagoon" Cole & Christopher "Naeem" Trotter saved a man's life from a KKK-affiliated prison guard gang. They were sentenced to 84 & 142 years in prison for it.
