This Black August, join a Black Alliance for Peace webinar, "Black August In Action: Local Organizing for Political Prisoners." The discussion will focus on the forms of local and grassroots organizing that complement the national and international campaigns to free political prisoners. In particular, it will shed light on the case of the Pendleton 2 and contemporary activists and organizers who have become political prisoners as a result of state repression in response to the 2014, 2016, and 2020 uprisings.
