A Black History Month Event!
The Los Angeles branch of Workers World Party will host two speakers:
1. Secretariat member and WWP 2016 presidential candidate Monica Moorehead, who will give a talk titled, "Socialism & the Black Liberation Struggle". Moorehead edited "Marxism, Reparations & the Black Freedom Struggle."
2. Gloria Verdieu of Workers World Party's San Diego branch and San Diego Coalition to Free Mumia Abu-Jamal and All Political Prisoners.
