Black Alliance For Peace Baltimore Citywide Alliance is partnering with Black Men Build for Part 2 of BAP- Baltimore’s Summer School 2024.

Systemic patriarchy refers to entrenched social, cultural, and institutional structures that perpetuate violence based on sexuality, gender, and gender identity. This results in the marginalization of women, non-binary individuals, and marginalized genders. Understanding patriarchy within the framework of imperialism shows its links to other oppressive systems like capitalism, racism, and colonialism. Recognizing that colonized Africans face both imperialism and patriarchy, everyone has vital roles to play in this struggle.

Join us as we attempt to engage the struggle with patriarchy beyond antagonistic interactions online towards concrete solutions.
