Please join members of the Bolivian community in showing international solidarity and support for the call for JUSTICE for the lives lost in the Sacaba-Huayllanu and Senkara massacres of November 2019.

Background:

“On March 15, 2021, the OAS General Secretariat, Luis Almagro, released a statement in defense of Bolivian ex-de-facto President Jeanine Añez and her administration, who were responsible for the November 2019 Senkata and Sacaba Massacres and deadly repression in Pedregal, Rosal, Ovejuyo and all over Bolivia. Members of the former administration, including Añez have recently been taken into custody after failing to show up for court summons. The OAS called these apprehensions “political persecution,” with no mention of the massacres, but we know that this is yet again political meddling on behalf of the OAS, which only serves to erase and undermine the harm of violent state repression and have those who were responsible escape accountability. Colectivo Kawsay calls on the international community to stand with the working class and indigenous people of Bolivia in demanding and pressuring for a CRIMINAL TRIAL against Añez and her conspirators and say NO to impunity.” From Colectivo Kawsway
