The legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King is often co-opted, whitewashed and falsified by major media and national and local misleaders to push a liberal, status quo agenda. However, Dr. King was firmly anti-capitalist and recognized the necessity of building a movement to challenge class hierarchy, white supremacy and capitalist policing.

Come out Wednesday 1/22 at 7pm ET to discuss the radical lessons from MLK’s real legacy and develop democratic and community based responses to intensifying bipartisan U.S. fascism and repression.

If you are in the DMV, please join us in-person at the Black Workers and Wellness Center, 2500 Martín Luther King Jr Ave, SE Washington DC. Please wear a mask and don’t come if you’re sick!
