Black Alliance for Peace (BAP) signed onto the ANSWER Coalition's call to raise the visibility of the 20th anniversary of the imperialist assault on Iraq by U.S. and NATO forces. This criminal act of aggression continued the clear commitment of the U.S./EU/NATO Axis of Domination to take advantage of the lack of a countervailing power to the aggressive militarism of Western imperialism that began with the bombing of Serbia in the 1990s and the invasion of Afghanistan in 2001.

Today, they are targeting Russia and China, while demanding the people of the global South and the colonized support them—or else!

BAP will continue to resist along with the people of the world.

We did not ask for the war being waged against us, but we are committed to making sure it is not a one-sided war. We are for peace. But, to realize peace, we know we must defeat the enemies of peace!

For BAP, taking it to the streets is not a call for spontaneity, but to reaffirm that positive resistance requires the unity of theory and practice. We don't gain practice behind a computer screen.

BAP is building opposition to the U.S./EU/NATO Axis of Domination. Join us at 1 p.m. on March 18 at the White House for a rally and march.
