Imperialism, via its neo-colonial dominated Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) is complicit in obstructing the democratically duly elected PAI Terra Ranka Coalition from performing their mandate by the people. The people of Guinea Bissau have been demanding the opening of the National People’s Assembly (ANP) that is being blocked by unidentified masked troops loyal to the reactionary president Umaro Embaló, while 600 ECOWAS troops stand by idly. This happens as the same compradors leading ECOWAS claim concern over a so-called undermining of democracy in Sahel states, threatening to militarily invade Niger, as those states attempt to overthrow the yoke of imperialism.
ECOWAS inactions are a blatant and hypocritical betrayal of the people’s human right to be governed by the PAICG-led Guinea Bissau which they voted for, another beacon of hope in Africa. Not surprisingly, the Congressional Black Caucus (CBC) hasn’t uttered a peep about what is happening in Guinea Bissau.
Come out to demand that the National Assembly of Guinea Bissau be opened and the democratically elected leadership be allowed to execute their peoples’ mandate and revolutionary platform! Expose this obscene miscarriage of justice that is being committed in the dark and the blind spots of the international public.
