People question why African (Black) people in Baltimore (and the broader U.S.) should be concerned about Zionism and Palestine. In Gaza, Palestinians endure over-policing, constant surveillance, beatings, incarceration, unjust killings, and a shortage of usable water. Baltimore (and other U.S. cities)?contribute to these practices by funding the Israeli occupation and employing Israelis to train the Baltimore Police Department (BPD) in over-policing, constant surveillance, beatings, incarceration, and unjust killings of African (Black) people. These practices are likely to persist with the proposed $330 million ‘Cop City’ on Coppin State University’s campus in West Baltimore, diverting attention and funding from essential issues like ensuring drinkable water in Baltimore.

It is crucial for African/Black people to remember our long tradition of solidarity with Palestine (and all colonized people) against common enemies like colonialism, settler colonialism, neo-colonialism, Zionism, capitalism, and imperialism—the global white supremacist capitalist Axis of Domination.

Join us for this community conversation on the shared desire for unity, freedom, dignity, self-determination, and the importance of smashing Zionism from Baltimore to Palestine featuring speakers from The All- African Peoples Revolutionary Party and The Palestinian Youth Movement.
