In support of this month’s Stop AFRICOM actions called by the Black Alliance for Peace,

UNAC will be holding a webinar on the situation in Ethiopia, Tigray, and the Horn of Africa.

AFRICOM is the US military African Command.  It organizes the US military interventions into Africa.  US military presence has greatly increased in Africa in recent times. At the same time the US has sanctions against more African countries then those in any other part of the world.  Recently the media has been covering the conflict on the Horn of Africa between Ethiopia, Eritrea and Tigray with a Wester bias geared towards increasing US involvement in this strategically important area.
