Join BAP for an anti-imperialist week of actions to raise public awareness about the cynical 2022 U.S.-Africa Leaders Summit being held in Washington, D.C.

December 12: We will start with a rally outside the event’s gala dinner at 6 p.m. Location to be announced once the dinner venue is determined. THIS ACTION HAS BEEN CANCELED DUE TO NO INFORMATION ABOUT AN OFFICIAL STATE DINNER.

December 13: Join BAP for a forum, “Africa Anti-Imperialist Summit: Voices from the Ground,” 12 noon-2 p.m. ET, to expose the imperialists’ U.S.-Africa Leaders Summit. Location: Institute for Policy Studies, 1301 Connecticut Ave., NW, #600, Washington, DC 20036. A Facebook livestream is planned for this event, which would be found on our Facebook page starting at approximately 12 p.m. ET on December 13. Register here to attend it as a webinar.

December 14: At 12 noon, join our picket line and rally. Location: Walter E. Washington Convention Center, 801 Mt Vernon Pl NW, Washington, DC 20001. THIS ACTION HAS BEEN CANCELED DUE TO FREEZING RAIN.

December 15: At 6 pm, join another picket line and rally. Location: Microsoft’s Innovation and Policy Center, 901 K St NW 11th floor, Washington, DC 20001.

December 16: At 2 pm, the press and the public are invited to BAP’s press conference. Location: Institute for Policy Studies, 1301 Connecticut Ave NW #600, Washington, DC 20036. Click here to watch on Zoom. The press conference also will be livestreamed on Facebook.
